If you are new to Scouting, you can take YPT training, print out your certificate (see example to right) and later update it with your member ID number, once assigned. Simply go to the MyScouting website, where you can create an account, even without a membership ID number. Once you have printed your certificate, please submit a copy of your certificate to our Registrar.
If you are a
returning Scout parent and have not taken Youth Protection Training
within the past two years, please log on to MyScouting, take the
training, print out your certificate, and submit a copy of your
certificate with your Adult Application to our Registrar.
Be sure
to have your member ID number. The number can be found on your Boy
Scouts of America membership card (see example to the right). If
you have forgotten your member ID number or are not sure if you have
one, please contact us at pack266@hotmail.com for assistance.
If
you are a returning Scout parent and have taken Youth Protection
Training online but did not input your member ID number, please log back
on to the Training section of MyScouting, input your member ID number,
and print out your certificate and submit it to our Registrar.
